Sunday December 27th, 2009
For all the tears that have been shed since the notification of our move in July, the last day has finally come and as we said our goodbyes not one tear would fall. We spent the day at Liz's house eating, putting together a puzzle and visiting with family and friends who stopped by. We had loaded up the truck earlier in the day so we are set to leave at 7:00 am Monday morning.
We finished painting the two bedrooms in Liz's basement on Tuesday this week, Mark came and finished up all the electrical fixtures. Liz and I got the beds and dressers all set up, cleaned and put together and we laid room rugs down so it is not the bare cement. Jessica got to stay in her new room over Christmas.
We have done all we could to leave our children and their families with all they could need for a while. We have all the computers hooked up with Skype to keep in touch and they are all settled into homes for the time being. It is now up to them to watch over and care for each other. And should anything happen to us we have our Family trust all put in place. So if you have one of our previous wills you can destroy those as this new trust will be the one in effect.
